Our Mission

Dedicated to the People of Eclectic and Beyond

At Station 2, we believe that safety is not something you buy — it is something a community builds together, brick by brick, shift by shift. Our volunteer firefighters train relentlessly so that when seconds count, they have everything they need.

We respond to structural fires, vehicle collisions, medical emergencies, hazardous material situations, and natural disasters across Eclectic and the surrounding 36024 area. But our role goes beyond emergency response: we educate, we prepare, and we walk alongside this community through its hardest moments.

What We Do

Comprehensive Emergency & Prevention Services

From rapid fire suppression to fire safety inspections and public education, Station 2 covers the full spectrum of emergency response for our community.

Fire Suppression

Structured and vehicle fire response across Eclectic and rural Autauga County. Our crew trains continuously to handle the most demanding fire scenarios with speed and precision.

Emergency Medical Response

First-response medical care while awaiting advanced life support. Our volunteers are certified to stabilize patients on scene and coordinate transport to area hospitals.

Fire Safety Inspections

Complimentary inspections for homes, businesses, and community buildings. We identify hazards, review evacuation plans, and ensure compliance with local fire codes.

Community Education

Fire prevention workshops, school visits, and public demonstrations at community events. Knowledge is the most powerful tool against disaster — we share it freely.

Residential Safety Programs

Free smoke and carbon monoxide detector installations for qualifying residents. We also provide home escape planning guidance to keep families prepared.

Search & Rescue Support

Coordinating with county and state agencies for search and rescue operations. Our personnel are trained in wilderness and technical rescue disciplines.

Community Involvement

More Than Responders — We're Neighbors

Station 2 firefighters live, work, and raise families in Eclectic. Our commitment doesn't end when the alarm stops ringing.

Local Youth Programs

We mentor young people through fire cadet programs, career exploration days, and STEM outreach at local schools. Building the next generation of community guardians starts with showing up early.

Disaster Preparedness

From severe storm response coordination to hurricane readiness drives, Station 2 helps Eclectic stay ahead of threats before they become tragedies. Preparedness is a team sport.

Community Events

Open house days, fire truck ride-alongs, and safety fairs — we open our doors so residents can meet the people who stand between them and danger.

Partnerships

We collaborate with Autauga County emergency management, local schools, faith organizations, and neighboring fire departments to build a safer region for everyone.
